It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 1st Drava Chemistry Conference - Drava ChemiCon 2026, which will take place 2-3 July 2026 in Osijek, Croatia.
Drava ChemiCon is a new international scientific conference launched on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Chemical Society (1926–2026), organized by the Osijek and Varaždin branches of the Croatian Chemical Society.
This meeting marks the beginning of a new conference tradition—a rotating series of scientific events held in cities along the Drava River, symbolically highlighting the river as a corridor of scientific, educational, and international cooperation.
The conference aims to bring together scientists, chemistry teachers, students, and representatives of the chemical industry, with the goal of strengthening international connections between research, education, and industry.

- Scientific section
- Educational section
- Student section
- Special panel dedicated to the funding of scientific research – challenges and opportunities
Conference topics include:
- Fundamental and applied chemistry
- Interdisciplinary chemistry
- Chemistry education
Drava ChemiCon 2026 will be held in Osijek, a city historically connected with Nobel laureates Lavoslav Ružička and Vladimir Prelog, further emphasizing the scientific heritage and continuity of chemical excellence.

- Regular – €160 / €200 (gala dinner included)
- Members of the Croatian Chemical Society – €140 / €175 (gala dinner included)
- Students and teachers – €50 / €60
Confirmed plenary speakers come from the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Croatia, giving the conference a strong international dimension from the very beginning.
